The Membership Sales Manager leads us from the world of luxury fashion into the realm of luxury matchmaking, you can see the crossover! This is an opportunity for a strategic sales professional with intuitive people skills to join an elite global introduction agency that offers an exclusive matchmaking and dating service to find the perfect partners for discerning and affluent individuals.
The focus of the role requires a similar skillset to luxury clienteling or membership management in onboarding clients with the responsibility for actively growing the client base through networking events, lead generation activity and the follow-up of all incoming enquiries in order to achieve monthly revenue targets.
The role will suit a highly polished, articulate individual with a minimum of 5 years of experience and a solid track record in sales who is motivated and skilled in achieving and exceeding lucrative sales targets. This position requires a high degree of empathy, relatability, independent judgment and discretion in decision-making. Full training will be provided.
Main responsibilities:
- Identify and target clientele that will convert into new members.
- Make a strong and positive impression on clients building an easy rapport.
- Negotiate and agree membership fees, following through to receipt of payment before handing individuals across to the Customer Service team.
- Utilize various prospecting resources to solicit and secure new members.
- Work with the wider marketing team and initiate networking activities.
- Follow up on all potential business inquiries and leads and meet and qualify individuals.
- Create and execute membership sales plan generating 15 meetings a week.
- Achieve monthly, quarterly and annual revenue sales targets.
- Log and update the internal system to track all membership activity.
- Write clear and effective correspondence.
- Display genuine empathy and a passion for helping people to find their ideal partner.
Essential Skills
- Educated to Degree level or above.
- Sales professional with 5+ years experience in clienteling, membership, private client sales or a similar sales position for the luxury market is essential.
- Expertise and track record working with VIP and ultra-high-net-worth individuals.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate clearly and effectively.
- Highly polished and well-presented.
- Entrepreneurial, self-starter, highly organised and results-focused.
- Skilled in meeting and exceeding sales targets.
- Relevant networking experience.
- High levels of empathy and skilled in relationship building.

- Salary: In line with experience + quarterly commission on achieved sales target and automatic commission on self-generated leads.
- 5 weeks holiday entitlement a year excluding bank holidays and Christmas closure from 21st December to the first Monday in January.
